Cabernet Franc

Cabernet Franc is a wine that is obtained from the grape of the same name, of French origin but typical of the region.

The grape harvest is manual in boxes; the subsequent fermentation takes place in vats of different sizes for about 7/8 days, with frequent punching down during the day. The aging of the wine after racking takes place for about 30% in French oak tonneau and for 70% in stainless steel tanks and lasts for at least 12 months.

The resulting wine is deep ruby red in colour, particularly structured, with aromas reminiscent of berries, licorice and musk, as well as its characteristic vegetal notes of green pepper and rhubarb.

To be served at a temperature close to 18 degrees, it is excellent to taste with poultry, roasts and grilled meats, but also cheeses, Friulian cold cuts and stewed and grilled meats.
