Ramandolo “Bressani”

This wine comes from the Verduzzo Friulano grape, lovingly grown in our rolling hills. It is obtained from a manual and late harvest, with subsequent drying of the grapes on racks, a practice that allows a natural concentration of sugars, abstracts and aromas.

After a very short maceration in contact with the skins, the free-run must ferments in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 17 degrees, while the subsequent refinement takes place in French oak barrels and barriques for at least 30 months.

Elegant and delicate, it has a golden yellow color, splendid brightness and perfect transparency. Its scent is discreet and collected, concentrated on hints of chestnut honey and walnut husk, a hint of nutmeg, a hint of cinchona. In the mouth sobriety and composure, but also power. The body of the wine is broad, soft, with a long persistence, with a pleasant aromatic aftertaste: the hints of violet, almond and mountain honey harmonize with the aroma of dried figs, dried apricot and caramel finish.

Wine to be tasted mainly with aged cheeses, gorgonzola, Pastorut of Sutrio, goat and blue cheeses, foi gras. Also excellent as a meditation wine.
